Diary and evaluation! Monday 12 October:
Jessica and I started our Scratch STORY today. At first we were going to do a game but we changed our mind and we thought that a story would be easier. We did the first page of our story and we used the characters we made for our game.
Wednesday 14 October:
Today we went to the library at lunch and did some more of our assignment. We did the second and the third page of our story.
Thursday 15 October:
Today Jessica and I added the back grounds to our story and we made the characters talk a little bit more. We also did another page of the story.
Monday 19 October:
I was at my music lesson today so i asked Jessica to look for facts on the planets.
Tuesday 20 October:
Today Jessica and I fixed up and made sure that we had no mistakes before the double period tomorrow. Jessica also got some facts on Venus while I carried on editing the story.
Wednesday 21 October:
Today Jessica and I did 2 more pages of our story in the double period. We also fixed and edited things that were not very good. After we did that we showed our story so far to Mrs Beadle and she gave us a few tips and suggestions to make it better.
Tuesday 27 October:
Today me and Jessica started to record all our sounds for our story!!!
Thursday 30 October:
Today Jessica and I finnished recording our sounds for our project and we finnished our project!!
Did you draw up a project plan? Yes we did, we thought about what we should use for our characters. If so, did you stick with this plan? Yes we did. We used our ideas for our characters and scenes. Did you draw up a storyboard showing what ideas you had for each scene? No we didnt. We just went straight into drawing them on Scratch Did you stay with this plan? Yes we did. We used the scenes and characters and we sticked with the idea of making it a bit childish for children What were the difficulties you had with: Animation? Audio? Dialogue? Drawings? We had a lot of difficulty with the audio as at first it didnt accept the audio we made and when we recorded it went all fuzzy. But we got through in the end, What other difficulties did you have through the development? I think when we changed over from a game to a story as that took us a while to decide. How did you overcome each one of them? We worked with a can do attitude. Sometimes we got a bit cross with what it was doing but in the end we got through Are there any parts of your animation which are not working? Some times the audio is not working. What were the fun parts of the project? Making the characters! Jess and my assignment.
